Have you missed my odd Sunday rambles?
I’ve missed writing them!
Life, man. It’s been a bit mad lately. In a good way, of course. But I’ve barely been scraping together our weekday blog posts, let alone sitting down and stringing my crazy brain train into a whole extra blog post.
I’ve also been considering whether this blog is really the best outlet for my Sunday posts. They’re a bit left of field in amongst all our lifestyle content.
Another entirely separate problem I’ve been facing is my newsletter.
I produced it for like, two weeks? And then I got bored with it in its current format and just stopped sending it. So people have been signing up for it, getting their cute little Spring Bucket List Printables, and then hearing crickets. Wasted opportunity!
But do you see where I’m going with this?
Yes, that’s right. I’m going to keep writing my Sunday posts.
Just not here.
My email subscribers will now get exclusive access to the things I think about on a weekly basis, as well as my favourite links, and of course blog updates.
I feel good about it!
So if you’re one of my handful of “It’s Sunday” groupies, you know what to do.

And if you made it this far hoping I would throw in a story from my week, well, you’re in luck. Because I do happen to have something I need to get off my chest.
I buy those big bags of oddly shaped avocados from Woolies. You can’t go wrong with them. 7-9 avocados for $8.90 is mint.
Last week’s batch were unfortunately not very forthcoming in communicating their ripe-ness. Usually I’m an excellent judge, but these babies were tricksters.
Long story short, I ended up wasting three of them.
I mis-judged the ripe-ness THREE TIMES; cutting into them one-by-one only to discover they were inedibly under-ripe.
Three avocado lives destroyed in one morning.
The experience has scarred me, and now I’m questioning everything I ever thought I knew about avocados.
